What is School For?
Our children worked with a Visual Facilitator to gather ideas about what makes us special. We worked all day in lots of different groups to make sure we heard everyone's views and then Claire drew them all out for us. We will be making displays around the school to show off our ideas.

Curriculum Rationale
It is important to ensure that everyone within the school is clear about what they are aiming to achieve through the curriculum. When a school has a rationale for its curriculum, it means that everyone involved with the school can answer the question ‘What do we want for our children and how will we work together to achieve this?’

Play Based Pedagogy Rationale
Our play centred curriculum equips our learners with the skills, attributes and learning dispositions (our visible learning powers) necessary for them to flourish in our dynamic world. Play supports our learners’ health and wellbeing. Through play, children are encouraged to be curious and learn to seek answers, learn new skills through working collaboratively with children and adults.
